What languages do you translate?
At TLC, we translate over 150+ languages. We list the most common languages requested through the online ordering portal:
How long does it take to translate my document(s)?
Turnaround time depends on a number of factors including:
- Document Quality
- Source & Target Language
- Number of Pages (a page is considered 300 words)
- Corrections on Spelling or Missing Information
Once a team member reviews your document(s), they will be in touch to confirm your delivery date. If you request a “Rush” translation, it may be ready as soon as the next business day but will always be subject to confirmation by the project manager.
Who translates my document(s)?
TLC works with vetted, qualified, and capable language professionals from all around the world. Our project managers work diligently with our language professionals to ensure quality delivery every time.
We select, monitor, and measure the performance of all our language professionals for the continued success of our customer’s translations.
Why are you asking me for spelling of names and locations?
The clarity of text and visibility of the letters or numbers on your document(s) might be difficult to read or slightly illegible.
Also, when working with languages utilizing non-Latin scripts, we transliterate names and locations.
There might be multiple correct ways of spelling someone’s name or location, however, we want to use the one that is already present in your other documents, such as a passport.
Please utilize the “Names & Locations in the Document(s)” field on the order page to help us ensure that everything is correct.
Do you offer Certified Translation?
Yes! We are the Certified Translation experts, after all. TLC offers the option of Certified Translation, which includes a notarized Certificate of Accurate Translation, for $25.
Why would I need Certified Translation?
- Most governing bodies require a Certified Translation of official documents, which includes a Certificate of Accurate Translation.
- Certified Translation authenticates a qualified, vetted, and knowledgeable translator worked on your documents.
- Certified Translation is a legal record, and TLC will testify to its accuracy in court, if necessary.
Will USCIS accept my translated document(s)?
All Certified Translations produced by TLC are accepted by U.S. federal or state agencies — including USCIS.
How is my information kept secure?
During the process of transmission and handling of documents, TLC uses standard security certificates, protocols, and secure systems (similar to online banking).
How much is translation?
